Our physicians are obstetric specialists, trained and prepared to care for routine pregnancies, high risk pregnancies and any pregnancy or delivery complications which may develop.
To provide additional reassurance, each of our ob patients receives a specialized ultrasound screening near the 20th week of pregnancy, performed by physicians who are board certified in both obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine. These same physicians provide specialist consultation in Watertown for all patients with potential complications and high risk pregnancies.
The staff on our OB unit specialize in obstetric nursing and hold advanced certifications in neonatal care.During labor, each patient has one dedicated caregiver.
Our pediatricians are available 24/7 to care for any urgent newborn needs.
Each of our OB patients has a personal OB Navigator to make the OB experience as carefree as possible. Your OB Navigator is a registered nurse that will coordinate your care with your healthcare provider and give you personalized care throughout your pregnancy. The OB Navigator even visits each patient at home after delivery to answer any questions that may arise after you leave the hospital.
