Community Benefit Stories | Community Health Fund

The mission of UW Health Partners Watertown Regional Medical Center (WRMC) is to provide the best in healthcare to our patients. As part of this mission, we provide health-related programs and services that benefit the community, fulfilling identified community health and safety needs. WRMC has long been a leader in supporting these activities for the greater Watertown region, particularly for those individuals who are disadvantaged and have limited access to health care services.

Our community benefit activities:

  • Address identified community needs
  • Emphasize preventive service
  • Expand access and build a seamless continuum of care
  • Foster collaboration with community organizations who have similar goals
  • Produce measurable health benefits
  • Focus in part on low income and other vulnerable populations
  • Are accessible to the entire community regardless of the ability to pay

Examples of community benefit activities include:
